PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator) is one of the world's best-known grading companies for trading cards and collectibles. After assessment, your card is assigned an official grade and safely encapsulated in a PSA slab.

How does PSA Grading work via Magic Traders?

1. Choose your PSA service

Select the desired PSA service based on the value of your card and the desired turnaround time.

Grading fees are paid in advance. Any additional PSA costs or upcharges are calculated afterward.

2. Prepare your cards for shipping

Preferably, place each card in a Penny Sleeve first, and then in a Card Saver.

✓ Penny Sleeve + Card Saver is strongly preferred

✓ No Card Saver available? A toploader is also possible

✓ When using a toploader, use painter's tape to securely close the opening

Do not use tape directly on the card or in a way that could damage the card.

3. Submit your cards to us

You can send your cards to us by mail or drop them off at our location by appointment.

We do not have a physical store. Personal drop-off is therefore only possible by appointment.

4. Receipt and inspection by Magic Traders

Upon receipt, we inspect and register your cards.

You will typically receive a confirmation by email within 1–5 business days with more information regarding the submission your cards will be included in.

From the moment your cards are received and processed by us, they are covered under the applicable insurance conditions of our PSA Grading Service.

5. Monthly shipment to PSA

In principle, Magic Traders sends a PSA shipment every month.

The deadline is typically the last Friday of the month. The cards are processed and registered over the following weekend, after which the shipment normally departs for PSA on Monday or Tuesday.

Cards arriving after the deadline may be moved to the next monthly submission.

6. Grading by PSA

When the cards have arrived at PSA and have been registered, the official grading process begins.

PSA assesses the card and, if applicable, a
